Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Software Engineer in Albany, NY to design, code, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with analysts, admins, and product owners to translate business processes into scalable applications and integrations.

You will leverage Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, LWC, and REST/SOAP APIs, while ensuring data security and efficient performance across environments. This role requires collaboration in an Agile setting and delivery of value to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficient in Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience with data modeling, security, and SOQL/SOSL queries.

Responsibilities

Software Engineer

Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business analysts, system administrators, and product owners to translate business workflows into high-performing custom code, complex API integrations, and intuitive user experiences.
• Custom Development: Design, code, test, and deploy custom applications, components, and automations using Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
• Integrations: Build and manage secure REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware connections (e.g., MuleSoft ) between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
• Data Modeling & Security: Design custom data models, use SOQL / SOSL for data retrieval, and enforce strict sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets.
• SDLC & DevOps: Manage full software development lifecycles across sandboxes and product on environments utilizing CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Change Sets)
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve platform bugs, performance bottlenecks, and system scaling issues
• Collaboration: Partner in an Agile/Scrum environment to estimate work, sprint plan, and deliver iterative value to business stakeholders
• Additional support that contributes to the key outcomes of the Salesforce Solutions team.

Qualifications

• Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of hands-on technical experience to design, build, test, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Deep expertise in Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, HTML/CSS, JSON, XML, SOQL, and SOSL.
• IT systems that will be used: Jira, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, custom Apex code, Visual Force pages, and integrations
