Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract role in Cary, NC. The position focuses on developing and maintaining embedded software across multiple vehicle platforms in an Agile setting.

You will work with C/C and MATLAB/Simulink, perform requirements analysis, and contribute to software architecture and testing efforts. This contract spans 1 year with hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in embedded software development using C and/or C.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, or Model-Based Design tools.
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems and software drivers.
• Experience with CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience writing and reviewing software requirements.
• Understanding of software development and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle platform validation, testing, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile development environment.
