Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded focus.

5 7 Years Experience Required

At least five years industry experience in C programming, Model Based Development, and embedded control software development experience.

Required Skills

• Solid programming experience in C or C++.

• Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.

Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of embedded software and systems.

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.

Applications span medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing.

Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lines.

Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.

Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.

Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

Develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine and battery electric/fuel cell programs.

Areas of responsibility include configuration, integration, build and testing of embedded software.

Test software for embedded electronic control systems, including requirements development and verification in a bench environment.
