Job description

This is a hands-on role for engineers who enjoy working at the intersection of software, hardware, controls, and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Embedded C, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded software testing, along with a proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex low-level system issues.

Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days Onsite per Week)

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, debug, integrate, and maintain Embedded C software applications
• Build and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models and algorithms based on system requirements
• Translate functional and technical requirements into embedded software designs
• Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing, including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing
• Perform low-level debugging across software, hardware, and integration environments
• Develop and troubleshoot CAN and LIN communication software
• Support diagnostics and NVM (Non-Volatile Memory) functionality
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, controls, software, and test engineering teams
• Participate in requirements traceability, test planning, defect tracking, and release activities

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall software/IT experience
• 4+ years of hands-on Embedded Software Development experience
• Strong experience with Embedded C programming
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and development
• Background in unit and integration testing of embedded systems
• Experience debugging low-level embedded software issues
• Ability to convert technical requirements into algorithms and software implementations
• bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
