Job summary

Radiance Technologies is an employee-owned company near Dayton, OH, seeking a software engineer to design and implement new capabilities, resolve issues in existing code, and integrate capabilities with external services and tools. You will collaborate with customers and team members, participate in code reviews, and communicate technical status.

Occasional travel to client events is expected. The role requires 3+ years of experience, a BS in CS or a STEM field, expertise with RESTful services

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field.
• Experience with RESTful web services and server-side languages (Python/C++).
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with version control (Git) and issue tracking (Jira).
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Strong preference with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with version control software (ex Git)
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as Jira
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Experience

• Experience with configuring and deploying web applications using
• Active TS/SCI
• Kubernetes, OKD, and/or HELM
• Experience of UI design using React
• Experience creating dashboards to simplify data presentation and navigation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins
• Experience containerizing (Docker or Podman) web applications, with 2 or more communicating containers
• Experience utilizing relational databases to handle large and complex datasets
• Able to demonstrate experience via personal portfolio or open-source contributions
