Liberty Software in Southlake, TX, is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead and grow our development team as we deliver high-quality software for client pharmacies nationwide.

You will mentor engineers, oversee project delivery, drive architecture decisions, collaborate with product managers and QA, and foster best practices. This on-site role offers strong benefits starting Day One.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft tech stack: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server.
• Experience with React or Blazor and modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency with Git and development workflows.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of mentoring development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee daily operations, including project assignments, resource planning, and prioritization.
• Conduct regular code reviews, set coding standards, and encourage best development practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, QA analysts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.
• Drive architectural decisions, technical innovation, and maintain the overall technical health of the platform.
• Manage project delivery schedules to ensure on-time completion and quality standards are met.
• Implement and optimize software development processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Identify and remove technical bottlenecks and barriers to team productivity.
