Job summary

Liberty Software, based in Southlake, TX, is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead and grow the development team delivering high-quality software for client pharmacies nationwide.

You will mentor engineers, oversee project planning and execution, enforce coding standards, and drive architectural decisions to keep the platform healthy and scalable. Strong Microsoft tech experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 2+ years in leadership or management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server).
• Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Blazor).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency with Git and development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Oversee daily operations, including project assignments, resource planning, and prioritization.
• Conduct regular code reviews, set coding standards, and encourage best development practices.
