Liberty Software in Southlake, TX is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead and grow our development team and deliver high-quality software solutions for client pharmacies nationwide.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, oversee delivery schedules, collaborate with product managers and QA, and set coding standards while promoting best practices and professional development opportunities. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) and modern web front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices a plus; knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern web development frameworks and front-end technologies (e.g., React of Blazor)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices a plus
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Proficiency with Git version control and development workflows
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and mentoring development teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and effectively convey technical concepts
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
