Job summary

Liberty Software, based in Southlake, TX, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead and grow its development team and deliver high-quality software for client pharmacies nationwide.

The role requires 7+ years in software development, including 2+ years in leadership, with strong C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and front-end expertise (React/Blazor). Cloud (Azure/AWS) and DevOps experience are a plus, along with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server).
• Experience with modern web development frameworks and front-end technologies (React or Blazor).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency with Git version control and development workflows.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring teams.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Oversee daily operations, including project assignments, resource planning, and prioritization
• Conduct regular code reviews, set coding standards, and encourage best development practices
• Foster continuous improvement through feedback, professional development, and career growth opportunities
• Guide the team in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions aligned with business needs
• Collaborate with product managers, QA analysts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines
• Drive architectural decisions, technical innovation, and maintain the overall technical health of the platform
• Manage project delivery schedules to ensure on-time completion and quality standards are met
