Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers building and operating ELB control plane services at scale
• Drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, and roadmap planning for ELB features and reliability
• Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent; conduct performance reviews and mentorship
• Own operational excellence — ensure high availability, low latency, and security for critical networking services
• Partner with product management, principal engineers, and other teams to define customer-focused solutions
• Manage sprint planning, project prioritization, and delivery across multiple workstreams
• Set engineering standards through reviews and best practices and drive incident response and SLAs
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership
• Foster culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement aligned with leadership principles
