Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring for a role building ELB-scale services. You will design, develop and operate distributed systems supporting ALB/NLB/GWLB features, handling millions of requests globally.

You will write code, review peers, and collaborate across product and operations to improve performance and security. This is a high-impact role with ownership across the delivery lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, monitor health metrics, and contribute to AWS-wide architectural decisions

Qualifikationen

• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience on new or existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems powering AWS Elastic Load Balancing.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java or C, with code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and operations to deliver features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large projects from design to deployment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitor system health, participate in on-call rotations, ensure high availability.
• Drive process improvements and stay current with AWS technologies.
