Amazon is seeking engineers to design, build, and scale the Elastic Load Balancing services across AWS regions. You will contribute to ALB/NLB/GWLB offerings and help ensure fault tolerance and low cost while handling terabytes of data daily.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems powering AWS Elastic Load Balancing services.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java, C++, or similar languages and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and operations to deliver features improving load balancing performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large projects from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers through reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor system health, participate in on-call rotations, and maintain high availability.
• Drive process improvements in development, testing, and operations.
• Stay current with AWS technologies to provide innovative customer solutions.
