RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a motivated software development intern to work onsite in Tewksbury. The role focuses on developing complex systems using C++, C, Java, Python, and Ada, with involvement in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree, has at least 60 credits by internship start, and is eligible for a U.S. government security clearance. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree and actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development life cycle and processes.
• Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevOps and test automation.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
