RTX invites applications for an engineering role focused on full‑lifecyle software development in a defense context. You will join cross‑functional teams to architect, design, implement, integrate, test, and support software products.

The position emphasizes working with C++, applying Agile practices, and maturing processes per SEI standards. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required; onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM major obtained by start date.

• Working knowledge of Linux, VxWorks or other Real time operating systems

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
