  • Support teammates with development tasks, technical troubleshooting, and customer service.
  • Learn key user functions and business processes to enhance the value of your work.
  • Explore new technologies, research best practices, and build skills in unfamiliar areas.

About The Energy Authority

The Energy Authority is a public power-owned, nonprofit corporation with offices in Jacksonville, Florida, and Bellevue (Seattle), Washington. Are you looking to launch your career in software development and make a real impact from day one? Join our Information Technology team as a Development Intern and work alongside experienced developers to create and customize business applications that support critical operations. This is a hands-on, entry-level internship where you’ll gain practical experience, collaborate across teams, and expand your technical skillset in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

  • Please only apply if you can commit up to a year towards the internship program. Solely summer internships are unavailable.
  • Students local to the Jacksonville area and surrounding colleges strongly preferred as this role will require in office participation.
