Job summary

TE Connectivity is offering an on-site internship in Middletown, PA, where you will support the Product Engineering team and manage an intern-led project. You will learn the engineering process, work on a summer project, and deliver a final summary presentation.

Job Overview

Interns will be responsible for supporting the Product Engineering team with their day-to-day activities, learning the engineering process, and develop design skills. In addition to the activities just listed, interns will also have the responsibility to manage and drive their own engineering project. This project will require the use of skills learned throughout the summer and provide meaningful benefit to the project sponsors. Interns will also be expected to document their results and provide a summary presentation to the engineering team at the end of the internship.

  • Manage and drive an engineering project which will require the use of skills learned throughout the summer.

  • Further expand your knowledge of engineering tools related to design and analysis.

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED
  • Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
  • Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Our Internship Program Typically Runs May Thru August And Gives Students The Opportunity To Work On Projects That Contribute To The Success Of Their Team And Build On Their Classroom Experience. Throughout The 10–12-week Program, Interns Will Be Provided With

Timeline

TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
