Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC is seeking a talented software development engineer to build a new, high-visibility product for worldwide strategic planning of the LEO network. You will work across product, science, simulations, and engineering to design scalable solutions for capacity and demand planning.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, modern software architectures, and the use of AWS technologies to deliver reliable, high-availability services at scale.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, scalability).
Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, business, science and simulations teams to design software for LEO capacity and demand planning.
Design and deliver scalable software solutions for satellite constellation planning and operations.
Lead technical roadmap definition and decide which services to build.
Leverage AWS and other Amazon technologies to deliver high-availability services.
Define and refine operational processes for reliability and excellence.
