Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, building high-performance microservices and writing clean, production-quality code.
• Optimize backend services for scalability, performance, and availability, troubleshooting production issues and improving system reliability.

• The Contacts Team manages core infrastructure for contact records, views, filters, and segmentation, powering millions of daily interactions.
• This role drives technical outcomes as a hands-on Individual Contributor owning high-impact initiatives across the Contacts domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, building high-performance microservices and writing clean, production-quality code.
• Optimize backend services for scalability, performance, and availability, troubleshooting production issues and improving system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other engineers, participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, or willingness to work with them.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized applications, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
