Job description

• Design and develop complex software systems and infrastructure primarily in .NET, Java, or Python
• Architect, build, and deploy Agentic AI solutions, autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows
• Design AI agent architectures that reason over business data, make decisions, and act with human-in-the-loop safeguards
• Build and enhance inventory lifecycle systems providing real-time visibility into stock levels, locations, and material availability
• Develop and maintain production planning solutions translating forecasts and vehicle build schedules into material and capacity plans
• Build and maintain web user interfaces using Angular or React
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across vehicle development, testing, operations, and launch-day activities
• Integrate and extend commercial products using RESTful web services, AI/ML APIs, and message queues
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, foundation models, and agent frameworks
• Troubleshoot software issues across installation, deployment, configuration, server-side, and client-side environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience
• Production coding experience in Java, C#, or Python
• Experience leading design and architecture for new and existing systems
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, application deployment, and containerized workloads, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Ability to deliver efficient, working code with incomplete or ambiguous requirements
• Passion for AI/ML advancements and rapid experimentation and iteration
• Excellent communication skills, openness to perspectives, and willingness to learn from mistakes
• U.S. citizenship/nationality, U.S. permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee/asylee required under export control regulations
• Successful completion of Blue's Standard Background Check
• Master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field preferred
• 7+ years across the full software development lifecycle preferred
• Experience with Agentic AI systems, multi-agent architectures, or autonomous workflows preferred
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning, or AI agent orchestration frameworks preferred
• Experience with scalable relational and non-relational data platforms preferred
• Experience applying AI/ML in enterprise or ERP domains preferred
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, scheduling, or demand-driven material planning in manufacturing or aerospace preferred
