Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale AI-powered shopping experiences on Amazon Search. You will own features end-to-end, improve latency, quality, and monetization in collaboration with science and engineering teams, and ship prototypes and proofs of concept with other technology leaders.

The role requires a strong technical background, customer obsession, and ability to mentor junior developers while advancing engineering best practices and operational

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and bring innovative products to market.
Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Build LLM based content generation workflows.
Partner with Applied Scientist to perform prompt tuning and evaluations.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
