Job summary

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore is building foundational services to enable AI agents at scale. As a Software Development Engineer, you design, implement, test, deploy, and operate core components across Harness control and data planes, tackling distributed systems challenges and ensuring secure, low-latency execution for production agents.

• Experience building distributed systems at scale.
• Strong judgment and ownership of complex features.
• Willingness to work across APIs, SDKs, CLI, and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate core components for agent harness.
• Develop secure, isolated execution and tool orchestration capabilities.
• Integrate Amazon Bedrock with models and customer environments.
• Implement versioning, deployment, rollback, evaluation, and optimization.
• Analyze latency, scalability, and cost across multi-tenant workloads.
• Simplify developer journeys across APIs, SDKs, and tooling.
• Collaborate with customers and partner teams to reduce friction.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews within Harness.
