Software Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SME

This position involves working as a Top-Secret Software Developer in an organization dedicated to developing and operating advanced software for critical national security applications. The organization utilizes SCRUM and SAFE Agile methodologies along with robust DevOps practices.

Responsibilities include developing, testing, and debugging software; understanding business, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements; collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues; and providing documentation and training. The role also involves design, security lockdown, integration, automation, and support tasks.

This position requires on-site work in Washington, DC, contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and debug software enhancements.
• Understand and implement business and security requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Assist in documentation and training, including automation of deployments and updates.
• Provide technical leadership on major tasks, define project goals, and offer strategic advice.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, including 10 years of related technical experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Front-end: JavaScript (ES6+), React, NextJS, Tailwind CSS, Material UI.
• RESTful design, code quality practices.
