California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking a Software Developer II for the Student Administration Systems team. You will implement and maintain software interfaces to OnBase and Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, working as a hands-on technical member providing high-quality service to internal customers.

The role requires strong prioritization, highly technical skills, and excellent communication, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and effective collaboration across campus.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and two years of related programming experience required.
• Ability to program in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or VB and develop web apps using XML, XSL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational database structures, data-flow analysis, and SQL/PL-SQL.
• Familiarity with third-party systems like OnBase, DocuSign, imaging systems, and integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software systems and interfaces to student information systems (OnBase and Peoplesoft Campus Solutions).
• Analyze business problems, prepare functional/technical requirements, and implement solutions for university needs.
• Provide production support for third-party applications, including transcripts systems and integrations.
