Job summary
California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks a Programmer to join the Student Administration Systems team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining interfaces to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and other related systems.
It is an internal, customer-facing position requiring strong prioritization, technical skill, and clear communication to support student information systems. Workload includes collaboration with IT and functional teams, testing, and documentation projects.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar degree and two years of related experience required.
- Experience with ERP systems, especially PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support for Student Administration systems including CMS PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, DocOrigin, and CSLink reports.
- Development and Programming: analyze, program, test, and document to expand system scope.
- Requirements Analysis: collaborate with Systems and functional teams on enhancements and workflows.
- Provide support for third-party systems related to Student Administration processing.
- Documentation & Testing: maintain detailed operational descriptions and ensure integrity.
