Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks a Software Developer II to join the Student Administration Systems team in Long Beach. You will implement and maintain software interfaces to student information systems, primarily Hyland OnBase and Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

This internal, customer-facing position requires strong prioritization, highly technical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and two years of related programming experience required.
• Certifications in OnBase System Administration, OnBase Workflow, and/or OnBase API preferred.
• Experience with third-party applications and OnBase workflows is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Development and Programming - Primary technical programmer for all third-party applications and OnBase workflows. Perform analysis, detailed program specifications, programming, testing, and documentation to expand the functional scope of the Student Administration systems, in order to meet the business needs of the university. Design and implement procedures, software programs, reports, utilities, and documentation to support customer-focused delivery of business data.
