Job summary

The California State University Long Beach invites applications for a Software Developer II in the Student Administration Systems team. You will implement and maintain software interfaces, mainly with Hyland OnBase and Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and you will provide technical support to internal campus customers.

Ensure reliable service, prioritize work, and contribute to a culture of equity-minded, student-centered service.

Qualifications

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and two years of related programming experience.
Certifications in OnBase System Administration, OnBase Workflow, and/or OnBase API preferred.

Responsibilities

Development and Programming - Primary technical programmer for all third‑party applications and OnBase workflows. Perform analysis, detailed program specifications, programming, testing, and documentation to expand the functional scope of the Student Administration systems, in order to meet the business needs of the university.
Requirements Analysis - Collaborate with Student Systems and functional teams on related enhancements and workflows. Assist project teams with gathering functional requirements, design, implementation, training, and ongoing support.
Production Support - Support third‑party applications, including on-site and remotely hosted software. Main technical support for HS and College transcripts.
