Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in software development or integration projects in a service-oriented, cloud, web services, or virtualization environment.
• Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or shell scripting.
• DoD 8570 Certification Compliance at IAT Level II or III, including Security+ or equivalent.
• Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access and a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Architect, and development teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Participate in SAFe Agile activities, including daily coordination, backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review and implement software requirements, support task execution, and contribute to deployment activities.
• Modify existing Government Off-the-Shelf code and integrate open-source solutions for web display.
• Develop and maintain solutions using C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting as applicable.
• Document functionality in GitLab, apply DevOps practices, and deliver features in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot defects, maintain secure and agency-compliant code baselines, participate in code reviews.
• Use Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Rocket.Chat to support development and delivery.
• Maintain system code coverage above 80 percent while supporting quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, including version description documents and diagrams.
• Other duties as assigned. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
