Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a Software Developer II to design, code, and develop financial applications and web systems. The role includes troubleshooting, testing, and integrating core and web applications, with a focus on secure, scalable software solutions.

The position is a 6-month contract-to-hire in Florida, offering opportunities to work with modern technologies and collaborate across IT teams. A results-driven candidate with experience in .NET, React, and SQL is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree in IS, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with .NET, React, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL-based technologies.
• Familiarity with client-server concepts, web services, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates moderately complex internal and external core and web applications.
• Provide Tier III technical support for staff on core and web applications.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teammates to determine requirements for software and hardware.
• Develop and review security safeguards, test configurations, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Create unit tests, documentation, and deployment guidance; verify AI-assisted outputs where used.
