Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) seeks a Software Developer II to design, code, and develop new financial applications and web-based systems. 6-month contract-to-hire with a not-for-profit, member-focused environment on the Florida Atlantic coast.

Responsibilities include full stack development, troubleshooting, security hardening, and collaboration with IT and vendors. Flexible scheduling and strong growth opportunities are offered within a mission-driven credit union.

Qualifications

• Experience with a full software development lifecycle for core and web-based systems.
• Proficiency in .NET, React, JavaScript, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Degree or equivalent experience in information systems or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates moderately complex internal and external core and web applications and services.
• Responds to end user issues and provides tier III technical support for staff.
• Collaborates with vendors and IT teams to determine requirements and validate configurations.
• Develops web security safeguards and ensures cross-browser compatibility.
• Writes and maintains documentation, unit tests, and deployment guidance.
