Mascoma Bank is seeking a Software Developer I to join its high-performing Software Development team. This position offers remote work flexibility, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. The role involves developing software in collaboration with the team to meet business needs and maintain a competitive edge in the financial industry. The successful candidate will report to Senior Software Developers.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Solid understanding of basic network and software development concepts.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
3. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively.
4. Experience with Python, Scala, JavaScript, or Java is required.
5. Experience with git version control system is a plus.
6. Passion for learning and applying new skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
