Job summary

SIG Susquehanna is seeking a Software Developer to join the DNA Team, building real-time data normalization and adaptation systems that process billions of transactions daily. You will contribute to design, development, and deployment of high‑performance, low‑latency applications and work with front- and back-office teams on critical trading data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or closely related STEM discipline.
• Design and development experience using object‑oriented programming in .Net technologies.
• Experience with one or more message‑oriented middleware solutions (RV, MSMQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.)
• Good understanding of relational, as well as document, databases and experience with fundamental SQL using one or more of the database communication mechanisms: ADO, ODBC, and ODP.NET
• Ability to translate and communicate effectively between technologists and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience with all aspects of the SDLC, UML fundamentals, agile methodology, automated build, test‑driven development, and source code control
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor

Overview

Susquehanna is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Data Normalization & Adaptation (DNA) Team, which is responsible for processing billions of transactions per day in a real-time high-performance enterprise technology environment. You'll also work alongside most front- and back-office teams to build business-critical systems that decipher, normalize, and distribute trading data to the firm. You'll develop real-time trade reconciliation systems that monitor trading activity and elevate issues to the business through state-of-the‑art monitoring capabilities. The team is developing several new components to bring new business activity into the back office.

In this job, you will:
