Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Software Developer for its DNA Team to build real-time data processing systems that normalize and distribute trading data. You will work across front- and back-office teams to create high-availability components and real-time trade reconciliation capabilities.

You will participate in design, development, and deployment across the SDLC, with emphasis on object-oriented .NET, messaging middleware, SQL databases, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or closely related STEM discipline.
• Design and development experience using object-oriented programming in .Net technologies
• Experience with message-oriented middleware such as ActiveMQ or Kafka
• Strong SQL knowledge and database familiarity (ADO.NET/ODBC/ODP.NET)
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience across the SDLC, UML, agile methods, automated builds, testing, and source control
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor

Overview

Susquehanna is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Data Normalization & Adaptation (DNA) Team, which is responsible for processing billions of transactions per day in a real-time high-performance enterprise technology environment. You’ll also work alongside most front- and back-office teams to build business-critical systems that decipher, normalize, and distribute trading data to the firm. You’ll develop real-time trade reconciliation systems that monitor trading activity and Escalate issues to the business through state-of-the-art monitoring capabilities. The team is developing several new components to bring new business activity into the back office.

In this job, you will:

• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of large, complex, high-performance applications that process large amounts of data with low latency
• Build mission-critical processes that must meet stringent high-availability and fault-tolerant requirements
• Participate in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance with heavy emphasis on domain modeling, object-oriented analysis and design, and data modeling
• Provide technical direction and support for team applications and tools

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or closely related STEM discipline
• Design and development experience using object-oriented programming in .Net technologies
• Experience with one or more message-oriented middleware solutions (RV, MSMQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.)
• Good understanding of relational, as well as document, databases and experience with fundamental SQL using one or more of the database communication mechanisms: ADO, ODBC, and ODP.NET
• Ability to translate and communicate effectively between technologists and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with all aspects of the SDLC, UML fundamentals, agile methodology, automated build, test-driven development, and source code control
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
