Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Developer for PRIME CONTRACTS with telework up to one day per week. You will join a three-person team to enhance the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders, writing code, deploying features, and debugging issues in a fast-paced, agile setting.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, a technical degree with 6 years of software development experience (or 10 years in lieu of a degree), and willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a team of 3 developers to enhance the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders.
• Write code, develop features, and maintain the application.
• Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance.
• Develop and implement monitoring tools to detect issues before outages and ensure stability.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Manage and update Docker containers for deployment and scaling.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across code, infrastructure, or data.
• Implement best practices for data security and integrity.

• Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, whether they are related to code, infrastructure, or data, to maintain system functionality.
• Implement best practices for data security and integrity to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
• Engage in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a collaborative and iterative development process.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience working with Docker for containerization
• Familiarity with the CI/CD
• Experience with Vuetify

The estimated salary range for this position is between $150,000-$200,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
