Freedom is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support mission-critical enterprise systems. You will collaborate in an agile team, work on the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders, and gain experience across Python, Django, AWS, JavaScript, and VueJS.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering. Seven (7) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a team of 3 developers working to enhance the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders application.
• Write code, develop features, and maintain the application.
• Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance.
• Develop and implement monitoring tools and systems that detect potential issues in the system before they lead to outages.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, agile work environment.
• Utilize a tech stack that includes Python, Docker, Django, AWS, Java, JavaScript, and VueJS.
• Manage and update Docker containers to ensure efficient application deployment and scaling.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, whether they are related to code, infrastructure, or data, to maintain system functionality.
• Implement best practices for data security and integrity to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
• Engage in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a collaborative and iterative development process.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $130,000-$150,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
