Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support prime contracts, focusing on sustainment, modernization, and transformation of enterprise applications used across government operations.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, contribute to system enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three (3) years of software development/engineering experience. Seven (7) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation
• Experience working with the AWS Platform
• Experience working in an Agile Development Team
• Experience working with Git for source code management
• Experience with GOTS products
• Experience with EngineX

• Join an established, high-performing team responsible for the sustainment, enhancement, and modernization of mission-critical security applications that support essential operational functions across the enterprise.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.
• Help identify opportunities to improve system functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects while balancing independent work with collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Engage with technical leads and team members to evaluate emerging technologies, improve development practices, and support ongoing evolution of critical sustainment systems.

Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation ofthe enterprisecorporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security,logisticsand more. • Join an established, high-performing team responsible for the sustainment, enhancement, and modernization of mission-critical security applications that support essential operational functions across the enterprise.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support. Help identify opportunities to improve system functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be challenged to solve complex technical problems, implement system enhancements, and support modernization initiatives that directlyimpactmission success.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $130,000-$150,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
