Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-class ServiceNow applications. You will work on Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, and advanced automations, while developing REST and SOAP integrations with IntegrationHub.

You will collaborate with analysts, architects, and governance teams to ensure security, architecture, and quality standards are met, in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
• Background building scoped applications and complex workflow automations.
• Solid troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Commitment to quality, security, compliance, and platform best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and improve ServiceNow applications and platform features aligned to business needs.
• Create and support Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Script Includes.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and related ServiceNow capabilities.
• Partner with business analysts, architects, and governance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, architecture, and quality.
• Perform unit testing and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver sustainable fixes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, configuration notes, and development standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Support deployments, production releases, and handoff to operational support teams.
• Follow platform governance, compliance, and secure development best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience tools such as Nexthink.
• Experience with platform governance and secure development practices.

The pay range for this role is $37 - $71 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
