Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Columbus, OH is seeking three FTC Developers to advance a Configuration-as-Code transformation. You will design Git-based configuration management structures, implement PR workflows, and build CI/CD pipelines to validate data.

Collaborate with infra, security, and platform teams, create Ansible templates, and translate baselines to YAML. This is a 6-9 month fixed-term contract with no conversion option.

Qualifications

• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab and PR-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or other automation-focused languages.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated validation processes.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, data integration patterns, and schema-based validation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, or DevOps practices.
• Experience with JSON, YAML, and structured configuration data.

We are seeking three FTC Developers to help drive a large-scale Configuration-as-Code transformation initiative. These roles will focus on building the engineering foundation required to manage infrastructure configuration data through source control, automation, validation, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a Git-based configuration management repository structure.
• Implement branch protection, pull request workflows, and governance controls.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to validate configuration data against defined schemas and quality standards.
• Build integrations that export configuration data for AI-assisted analysis and cross-team review processes.
• Develop APIs and automation workflows to synchronize configuration data between enterprise platforms.
