Amazon Leo seeks an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the Network Observability and AI Foundations team. You will design observability systems, report and mitigate satellite network issues, and drive AI-assisted diagnostics across the end-to-end network stack.

You will mentor engineers, hire top talent, and shape the software organization for Amazon Leo. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, strategic planning, and leadership in mission-critical systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of leading multi-tier web services development.
• 1+ years of leading full lifecycle software development programs.
• 1+ years of distributed software systems development using Java/C#/C++.
• 1+ years of SOA experience in large-scale systems.
• 1+ years of distributed programming experience.
• 5+ years as Software Engineer/Developer.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design software systems and interfaces with peer teams and customers.
• Develop a strategic plan for team and software growth.
• Hire and develop a diverse team of software engineers.
• Aid in designing mission-critical systems for Amazon Leo.
