Amazon Leo is developing a scalable network observability platform that spans global regions and combines AI-driven foundations with large-scale distributed systems. You will lead end-to-end design and development, driving reliability, performance, and innovation in a fast-paced telecom domain.

This senior role emphasizes technical leadership across the stack, mentoring engineers, and delivering production-grade solutions with high availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a scalable, end-to-end platform supporting network observability.
• Design and implement distributed orchestration systems that coordinate across dozens of domain-specific internal and external services, ensuring reliable end-to-end workflow execution at scale.
• Establish the AI/ML foundation layer, including knowledge base architectures and intelligent automation frameworks, to accelerate developer productivity and reduce time-to-market.
• Tackle novel, ambiguous technical challenges at the intersection of artificial intelligence, large-scale distributed systems, and network domain complexity, delivering production-grade solutions with high operational bar.
