Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven IBM Software Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The role involves identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities focused on IBM software solutions, with an emphasis on generating new logos and expanding software adoption within existing accounts not currently managed by other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IBM Software Sales: Drive new IBM software business and expand opportunities within current clients.
  2. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients through outbound strategies, events, referrals, and networking, especially within the IBM ecosystem. Qualify and engage leads via phone, email, and social media.
  3. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, understand their challenges, and present aligned solutions. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for messaging and go-to-market efforts. Schedule meetings, demos, and presentations with technical teams.
  4. Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions in CRM, provide regular sales activity updates.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Experience: 3+ years in software sales or business development, preferably in enterprise technology. Familiarity with IBM programs, technologies, and partner ecosystem is a plus.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office. Understanding of enterprise software and digital transformation trends.
  4. Additional Qualities: Analytical thinking, customer focus, results-driven.
