Job summary

Vantor in Westminster, CO is hiring a Software Asset Management Specialist to govern software assets enterprise-wide. You will maintain asset records, manage licenses, renewals and audits, and collaborate with Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal and Security to ensure compliant, cost-effective software use.

The role is hybrid with in-office on Tue, Wed, Thu and remote on Mon and Fri. Base pay ranges from $62,000 to $91,300 annually, with incentive opportunities and a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, supply chain, finance or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years working in an IT capacity
• Experience in software asset management, IT asset management, license compliance, software procurement, technology operations, or related discipline
• Working knowledge of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS, user-, device-, concurrent, consumption-based, cloud)
• Experience with asset management systems; Ivanti experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile large datasets and communicate conclusions
• Ability to interpret software license terms, contracts, and entitlement records for compliance actions
• Strong organizational skills with renewals, audit evidence, expiration dates, and competing priorities
• Ability to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and manage sensitive information
• Proficiency with Excel or similar data-analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Manage the software asset lifecycle from request through deployment, renewal, reclamation and retirement
• Maintain accurate software asset records in Ivanti Asset Management
• Administer asset management processes including entitlement tracking, license harvesting, and renewals
• Reconcile inventory, usage, ownership, procurement, contract and entitlement data
• Support internal audits by analyzing asset data and coordinating remediation
• Review End User License Agreements and renewal obligations for compliance
• Monitor digital certificate expirations and renewal status with stakeholders
• Manage software asset-related ticket queues and ensure timely updates
• Generate reports on asset usage, license compliance, renewal, and risk
• Identify opportunities to optimize utilization and reduce cost
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, Security and business units to improve governance
• Develop SOPs, data definitions, and reporting to scale the program
