Job summary

Vantor, a leader in spatial intelligence, seeks a Software Asset Management Specialist in Westminster, CO. The role drives governance, control, and optimization of software and digital assets across the enterprise, coordinating with procurement, IT, finance, and security.

The position is hybrid with in-office days Tue–Thu and remote Mon–Fri. You will maintain asset records, manage licenses, support audits, and deliver regulatory-compliant reports to leadership, ensuring cost efficiency and risk

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years working in an IT capacity.
• Experience in software asset management, IT asset management, license compliance, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS, user-based, device-based, concurrent, consumption-based, cloud).
• Experience maintaining data in an asset management, configuration management, procurement, contract management, or comparable system; Ivanti preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile large data sets, identify exceptions and trends, and communicate practical conclusions.
• Ability to interpret license terms, contracts, and entitlement records and translate them into operational actions.
• Strong organizational skills, especially with renewals, audit evidence, expiration dates, and competing priorities.
• Ability to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and handle sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar data-analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the software asset lifecycle from request through deployment, renewal, reclamation, retirement, and closure with governance.
• Maintain accurate software asset records in Ivanti Asset Management, including titles, versions, publishers, contracts, entitlements, installations, and ownership.
• Administer entitlement tracking, license harvesting and renewal coordination, usage analysis, and compliance reviews.
• Reconcile inventory, usage, ownership, procurement, contract, and entitlement data to identify gaps and data-quality issues.
• Conduct internal software license reviews and support vendor audits by analyzing asset data and coordinating remediation plans.
• Review End User License Agreements and licensing terms to identify rights, restrictions, and renewal obligations; elevate legal interpretations as needed.
• Monitor certificate expirations and renewal status; coordinate with stakeholders to prevent production lapses.
• Manage software asset-related ticket queues with timely triage and proper documentation.
• Support audits by maintaining complete, audit-ready documentation and remediation activities.
• Generate and deliver asset, compliance, renewal, utilization, financial, and risk reports for stakeholders.
