Job summary

The State of South Carolina's Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a license management/IT procurement professional. The role focuses on overseeing software licenses, ensuring proper allocation, and maintaining compliance across enterprise endpoints.

You will collaborate with EUS and IT teams, prepare documentation, and support license administration within a hybrid work environment that may require travel within the Cayce/Lexington–Columbia area.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT tools/resources and enterprise software concepts.
• Ability to solve basic to moderately complex problems and work independently in prioritizing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed within the Cayce/Lexington–Columbia area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and renewal of assigned enterprise endpoint software licenses; ensure license allocation and accurate usage records.
• Monitor license usage and compliance, generate reports on trends, and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with IT support to resolve license/access issues and coordinate vendor support.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation for supported applications.
