Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions, Inc. in Belcamp, MD is seeking a Software Architect, Journeyman for an on-site role at APG. You will translate user requirements into robust hardware-software systems and contribute to test strategies as part of a DevSecOps team.

The ideal candidate has a Computer Science or engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes, scripting, and front-end design. Clearance at Secret level is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
• Three (3) years' experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Interact with system users to translate requirements into system, hardware, and software requirements and design.
• Participate in the development of test strategies.
• Solve engineering problems in the assigned functional area or manage their solution.
• SW Dev & Integration background.
