Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native software and analytics capabilities across the stack.

You will partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize platform capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure long-term platform reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web applications with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs/backend services with Node.js, NestJS, Express, or similar.
• Experience designing and supporting PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience utilizing AWS cloud services, including at least three of: EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, or QuickSight.
• Experience serving as the technical lead, solution architect, or primary design authority for at least one production software application.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve multi-tenant SaaS architecture across data, apps, and cloud.
• Lead design and delivery of full-stack solutions with React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, NestJS.
• Architect APIs and integrations for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Establish cloud standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics with AWS QuickSight (dashboards, RLS, data modeling).
• Drive architecture reviews and technology decisions for scalability, resiliency, security.
• Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers across the SDLC.
