Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable software and analytics capabilities across cloud-native applications.

As a senior technical leader, you will mentor engineers, drive IaC with Terraform, and partner with product and business stakeholders to translate objectives into robust technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience designing modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend APIs with Node.js/NestJS/Express or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases (schema, indexing, query tuning).
• Experience using AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Led technical direction as solution architect or principal design authority for a production app.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve multi-tenant SaaS architecture for a cloud-native platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS).
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Establish AWS-based cloud architecture standards (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Deliver embedded analytics using AWS QuickSight with dashboards and row-level security.
• Drive architecture reviews and engineering standards for scalability, resiliency, security, and observability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
