Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. This role will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native software and analytics capabilities across the stack.

You will partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize platform capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Express or similar.
• PostgreSQL data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• AWS cloud services including multiple services (RDS/Lambda/S3/IAM/Cognito/QuickSight).
• Led technical direction for at least one production app.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable systems.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and indexing strategies.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics using AWS QuickSight with dashboards and security.
• Drive architecture reviews, tech decisions, and engineering standards for scalability and observability.
• Partner with product, business, and engineering to translate business goals into roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers through the software development lifecycle.
