Job summary

i-Link Solutions seeks a Software Architect – Expert to support the State of New York with modernization efforts. The role involves production support, analysis, design, coding, and testing of complex applications, and mentoring junior programmers. Strong focus on performance tuning and documentation is required.

The position requires extensive IBM mainframe COBOL, DB2 for z/OS, and OpenText Exstream experience, along with Java development in an IBM environment using Eclipse.

Qualifications

• 72 months of Java development in an IBM environment using an Eclipse-based IDE.
• 84 months experience developing tax processing systems for government agencies.
• 84 months OpenText Exstream install/config/patch/test and design complex business applications.
• 84 months IBM COBOL programming on mainframe.
• 84 months IBM DB2 for z/OS experience.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 1 72 months of experience with Java programming in an IBM environment development using an eclipse based IDE
• 2 84 months of experience developing tax processing systems in a federal, state or municipal agency
• 3 84 months installing, configuring, patching, testing Open Text Exstream software and architecting the design of complex business applications
• 4 84 months of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience
• 5 84 months of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience
