Job summary

Trewon Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Software/Applications Developer to support a federal government client. The role focuses on Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and .NET technologies in a hybrid-remote setup with occasional onsite requirements in the Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: Journeyman Software/Applications Developer

• Assist with data migration, system modernization, and application enhancement initiatives

• Troubleshoot application issues, support production systems, and implement enhancements based on user and stakeholder needs
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and status updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software

Work Environment

This position can be supported remote hybrid, with occasional onsite, in-person working groups and/or meetings, with TDY to the Continental United States (CONUS) as required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The core working hours are 9 AM – 3 PM Monday through Friday. Employees will take a mandatory meal break of a minimum of 30 minutes. Manager may grant variance depending on client (government or prime contractor) flow-down specifications, upon employer application.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, including Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Strong development experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, or similar Microsoft technologies, and strong SQL Server experience (database development, stored procedures, views, triggers, reporting queries)
• Experience integrating enterprise applications via REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML; experience supporting enterprise application modernization/enhancement initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments

• Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and time management skills
• Experience in supporting Federal Government agencies, community-based organizations, or direct customer-facing projects
