Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in software or system architecture roles.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C and Python.
• Hands-on Linux and container tech (Docker).
• Experience in cloud and data center networking; strong networking knowledge.
• Strong design, coding, debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Software and System Architect to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will shape advanced networking solutions that span software, systems, and hardware, with a focus on cloud and data center environments. You will define architecture for orchestration, security, and high-performance infrastructure while helping translate requirements into scalable technical designs. The position partners closely with global software, hardware, and customer-facing teams to evaluate new technologies and deliver innovative solutions. It is well suited for an architect who thrives at the intersection of networking, system design, and emerging technology.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $124,000 – $241,500 annually

• Lead architecture for cloud networking solutions, including orchestration and security
• Design innovative system architecture for data processing units and network interface components
• Build comprehensive solutions from application level to hardware

Qualifications

• B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years as a Software Architect or System Architect
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Proficient in C and Python programming languages
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and container technologies
• Experience in cloud and data center networkingDeep understanding of networking protocols and topologies
• Strong skills in design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
